The Providence Chinatown project has been made possible by the generosity of community members who shared their stories of growing up, raising families, and building community in Providence. In light of the collaborative nature of this project, we invite Providence community members, researchers, and other individuals to add their photos and materials related to Providence’s Chinatowns through our HistoryPin collection. Each pin you add helps build an interactive map of the past and present cityscape of Providence, helping us to remember the history of Chinese American contributions to our city and their legacy into the present.
